There are different methods of cleansing Life Rocks. Eg
- Place the Life Rocks in a singing bowl
- Sun the Life Rocks for three days (This method is not suitable for certain crystals)
- Bury the Life Rocks in soil for three days
- Place the Life Rocks in running water for 24 hours (Do not use tap water as your utility bill will definitely shoot up)

You may have read that one of the methods to cleanse crystals is to soak them in salt water or in salt. However, there are indications that this method will affect the configuration of the crystals. Hence, it is not recommended.

- Feel comfortable when holding the Life Rocks.
- Consider the objective you want to achieve, as this will affect the type of Life Rocks to be selected.
- For Reiki practitioners, channel Reiki energy to the stones and feel the reaction. If the crystal is suitable, there will be correspondence.

It depends on how comfortable you are with the person handling them. Life Rocks or any genuine Feng Shui products are configured such that they are sensitive to their natural surroundings. Not only does it transmit energy to people, it also absorbs energy. When it is handled or exposed to people who are of a negative disposition, it will absorb more negative energy that will definitely influence its owner.

There is no specific location to place Life Rocks. They will have an effect regardless as to where they are placed, as long as they are exposed. For example, it can be placed in an office, in the bedroom, and even in display units. BUT do not place it inside drawers or an opaque box. Life Rocks can be used in combination with Feng Shui - and be placed in a specific location. In this way, it will have greater effects. It is all right to be used on it’s own too.

It depends on the
a. Size of the Life Rocks in relation to the room.
Small Life Rocks are adequate for small rooms or cubicles. Larger ones will be more effective for bigger rooms such as the living room or the entire house.

b. Maintaining the Life Rocks
Most of the Life Rocks require cleansing, with the exception of special ones such as Lepidolite. As Life Rocks carry out their purposes, they absorb negative energies. In order for them to be "as good as new", it is best to cleanse them once a while. Methods such as blowing or brushing off dust particles, cobwebs and moon bathing are sufficient. It is not advisable to soak in salt water/water or to place under direct sunlight as this might damage the Life Rocks.
